There are over 60 reflexology and acupuncture points on the soles of the feet. These points relate directly to the organs and other areas of the body so therefore the feet are the ideal site for detoxification.

You know how great you feel while walking along a beach or near a waterfall. Ions are generated by the movement of the water molecules. Our IonCleanse Footbath purifies your body through the electrolysis of the water. Relax with your feet in warm water for about 30 minutes. Healthy individuals can expect to feel lighter and experience a greater sense of well-being from each IonCleanse® session.

You sit down in a comfortable chair, rollup your pantlegs, remove your stockings, and put your feet in a soaking basin of warm salt water. The ionic array goes into the water with your feet, and the control unit delivers a small direct current to the array causing the metals within the array, in combination with the water and sea salt, to generate positively and negatively charged ions. These ions neutralize charged particles in the body. The neutralized particles are pulled out of the body through the skin via osmosis and diffusion. Osmosis and diffusion involve the movement of particles through a membrane, from a lower concentration to a higher concentration.

Impurities seem to stream from your pores as the session evolves. The colors you see in the water are believed to represent detoxification from areas of the body as indicated in the detoxification color chart shown below. It is recommended you drink water after your each session and replenish with trace minerals.

Ion Foot Spa Treatment SHOULD NOT be used by:

  • • Persons with a pacemaker or any other battery-operated electrical implant.
  • • Pregnant women and breast-feeding mothers.
  • • Organ transplant recipients.
  • • Persons who are at a high risk for seizures.

Those having Ionic Foot Treatments should also be aware of the following::

  • • Please do not wear metal, use a cell phone or a computer during a treatment.
  • • If you have a low blood sugar problem, please eat something before an Ion Foot Spa Treatment.
  • • Persons taking prescription medication should take meds after or four hours before a treatment.
  • • Though not dangerous, persons having a metal joint implant may find that there is discomfort with their treatment. The power setting can be lowered to allow for this.
  • • Persons with extremely sensitive skin or excessive allergies should discuss this treatment with their doctor before beginning.
