It was a pleasure to have four Georgia visitors and one New Yorker accompany the Wednesday team with nest monitoring and inventory of Nest#105 in Zone 3. All were delighted that we had 85 hatched and only 5 unhatched eggs out of the 90 total.

st 48 had good hatching but we missed it also had some decaying problems. bad for nest really bad for people who inventoried it . it was 81 days old.

Annette Marchetti, Dick Geier and I inventoried Nest #103 in Zone 1. 84 hatched, 11 eggs not hatched + 1 little guy who we set free. He was escorted by Jordan, a visitor from the campground. She made sure no seagulls or raccoons came near - thanks for your help! |
